Drum Kit Audio Controller
Teach Crownbeat the sound of each pad before playing.
Prefer a PC line input or USB audio interface. Start the drum module's headphone volume
at minimum, then raise it only until the meter responds without reaching CLIP.
Pad calibration
Select one voice, then strike only that pad five times at normal playing strength. The noisiest calibration strike is discarded, and live hits below 40% separation from the next-best drum are ignored instead of guessed.
Record six kit sounds
Record one clean strike per voice. Wait for “strike it once now”; the microphone is armed first, then Crownbeat retains four seconds of the hit and long cymbal decay before removing edge silence.
No output folder selected; Save WAV will download instead.
Connect the microphone above, choose an output folder, then record each voice.
Audio input is disconnected.
